San Diego, CA – March 5, 2015 – Aspiring artist from small town Bossier City, Louisiana, Chris Martin, has announced he will be working on his first full album that will include ten original songs. He has teamed again with prominent Los Angeles producer, Andrew Spence, to help him create more entertaining songs to complete the album of his dreams. To fund the project, Martin has turned to crowdfunding on Kickstarter. The goal is to raise $20,000 by April 7th.
Martin left his home town in 2012 to pursue a career as a CPA in San Diego. After nearly 3 years of working 60-70+ hours a week at one of the largest public accounting firms in the world, he bravely left to pursue his passion as a singer. He was able to finance and finish a 4-song EP album with the help of talented producer Andrew Spence. The short album received positive response and fans are asking for more! Martin and Spence are back at the studio, along with Fabian Fernandez, electric guitarist, and Belinda and Ladina Spence, who are the beautiful back up vocalists.
This is a rock and blues soundtrack with contemporary pop elements. It is appealing to a wide range of audiences, and will be a great new addition to the music industry. Its entertaining and relatable songs will bring joy to others. Whether people are in the car cruising on a Saturday night or driving to work on Monday morning, Martin’s upcoming album will be perfect to enjoy any time.
When the campaign has reached its funding goal, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to “Roots of Music” and “Children’s Coalition.” Both benefit music education for underprivileged children and give kids an opportunity to express themselves through music in an organized setting.
